Addington Palace 0.3 miles

A magnificent Georgian mansion and former country residence of the Archbishops of Canterbury, set in beautiful grounds above the North Downs escarpment. The historic connection to the Church of England — six Archbishops of Canterbury lived here between 1807 and 1898 — gives Addington Palace a unique place in English ecclesiastical history.
